The Winkie Research Table was revived in 2012 by Eric Gjovaag and Karyl Carlson after an absence of a few years. The Fiction contest prize (The Fred Otto Award) in 2012 was funded by the Jim Nich endowment.

    • 2nd Prize - David Tai for "Diplomatic Immunity"

  • 2012 - Eric Shanower for "The Elephants of Oz" (appeared in the Program Book)
